Delete Your Account
You can permanently delete your Codvoy account and personal data at any time. This page explains how to do it from inside the app, how to request deletion if you can no longer sign in, and exactly what is removed and what is kept.
Delete from inside the app (fastest)
If you can sign in, this is the quickest way and takes effect immediately:
- Open the Codvoy app and sign in.
- Go to Settings → Account.
- Tap “Delete account”.
- Confirm your identity when prompted (password, Google, or phone code).
- Confirm deletion. Your account and personal data are removed right away.
Request deletion by contacting us
If you can’t access the app or would rather we do it for you, send a deletion request through any channel below. Include the email address or phone number on your account so we can verify it’s you. We’ll delete your account within 30 days and confirm when it’s done.
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove the personal data tied to it, including:
- Your profile (name, email, phone, photo) and login credentials.
- Your course progress, bookmarks, notes, and certificates.
- Your AI playground content, credits, and usage history.
- Files you uploaded (profile images, submitted assets, payment proofs).
What we keep
A small amount of data is kept or anonymised so the service keeps working for others and to meet legal and accounting obligations:
- Public content you posted (discussion replies, submissions, votes) is kept but stripped of your name, so threads and other people’s scores stay intact.
- Payment and transaction records are retained for accounting and legal reasons, with your personal details removed.
- Websites you published stay live but are unlinked from your account. Ask us if you want them taken down too.
Timing
In-app deletion is immediate. Requests sent by message or email are completed within 30 days. Once deleted, your account cannot be recovered.
